Welcome to Melitalia. By accessing or using our website, enrolling in a course, or requesting a placement test, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must refrain from using our website or services. Melitalia provides Italian language courses, placement tests, and other related educational services either online or in person. To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and handle all communications and registration matters on your behalf.
By using our website or registering for a course, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information at all times. You also agree not to use our website or materials for any unlawful, abusive, or disruptive activity, including attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems or altering website content. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel registrations, or remove access to our platform if you violate these Terms or engage in any activity that could harm Melitalia, its staff, or its users.
Course enrollment becomes official only after registration is completed and payment (if applicable) has been received. Course availability, schedules, pricing, and format may change at any time without prior notice. Unless specifically stated otherwise, payments are considered final. Refunds are generally not offered for completed course sessions. Refund requests made before a course begins may be considered depending on administrative requirements and teacher preparation. If Melitalia cancels a course or service, students will be offered either a refund or the option to transfer to a different course. Any exceptions to refund rules are evaluated case by case.
If you create an account on any platform managed by Melitalia, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity occurring under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate our policies or Terms of Service. All course materials—including PDFs, worksheets, documents, videos, recordings, and digital content—are the intellectual property of Melitalia or its content partners. You may not copy, share, resell, distribute, or use these materials for commercial or instructional purposes without written permission from Melitalia. Unauthorized use may result in removal from the course and legal action.
By submitting your contact details (such as email or WhatsApp number), you consent to receiving communications regarding course administration, placement test arrangements, important updates, or promotional offers. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time. As part of providing our services, we may use trusted third-party providers including website hosting, messaging tools, or secure payment processors. These providers may handle personal data solely for service-related purposes and are bound by confidentiality agreements.
Melitalia protects personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how your data is collected, stored, processed, and the rights you may exercise under GDPR. You are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy carefully. Melitalia is not responsible for technical problems such as internet outages, platform errors, device issues, or any interruption beyond our control that may affect your ability to attend classes or access materials. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melitalia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific course or service concerned.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website along with an updated “Last Updated” date, and continued use of the website or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Italy and, where applicable, European Union regulations.
